Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2

by hapy | 10:36 AM

There seems to be a part of my past that I am reluctant to let go.  It feels as though the older you get, the less important friends become.   My friends have been (and still are) one of the most treasured things in life.  Ultimately, I guess, that I'm just a bit saddened that no one now seems to share this sentiment.

I remember not too long ago, I purchased a bike.  I decided to get into give it a try and purchased a bike.  More than half of this decision was based on the excitement my friend shared about biking.  I just wanted to partake in a friend's hobby and that was good enough reason for me.

Going to dinner for company though you've already eaten, trips to Bestbuy when you've got nothing to buy, I miss those days when things didn't have to make sense and it was okay.

Maybe we're all growing up.  Maybe we've more important things to do.  No one seems to go out of their way for anyone anymore.  Everything has to make sense.  Everything has to end by 10.

This is why I'm looking very much forward to the much acclaimed Blizzard titles.  I want to waste time, stay up late, feel like crap at work, doing something silly, things that girls wouldn't understand, with friends.
